Hi there!
Today I’m super excited to be participating in a Blog Hop to celebrate the Simon Says Stamp Holiday Sparkle Release!
If you’re following along on the hop you probably got here from Tina Smith’s blog – but if not, you can start from the top at the Simon Says Stamp Blog!
From now until 11/13 at 11:59 pm EST you can use the code CUTEBAG and get an adorable Holiday Zipper Pouch FREE with a purchase of $50 or more!

Be sure to leave a comment below (and at each stop on the hop) because Simon is giving away a $25 coupon to one commenter on each blog! Winners will be posted on the Simon Says Stamp blog on Wednesday, November 16th. If you’re a winner, just email Simon Says Stamp to claim your prize!
For my stop on the hop, I’m sharing this clean and simple holiday card I created using items from this amazing release!
This card features the Hedge Berries Embossing Folder and Cutting Die, along with the new Pawsitively Velvet cardstock. I just can’t help but love all of the dimension on this card!

To make this card, I embossed two panels of white card stock – one I trimmed down for the background and one I colored and cut for the berry branch.
I used Distress Oxides (colors listed in the supplies list below) to color the main branch and then cut it out with the coordinating die that comes with the embossing folder.
I then cut out my “Joy” sentiment from the new red velvet cardstock and adhere it to several layers of cardstock that I had die cut for the shadow.

With all my card elements ready, I began assembling my card by first using foam adhesive to attach my embossed panel to my card front. I decided on the placement for the branch and adhered it to the embossed panel, then adhered my sentiment.
For some added sparkle (and because I just can’t get enough of these), I added Pink Fresh Studio Ruby Glitter Drops over the berries.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today and for joining in on our Hop! If you’re following along in order, your next stop will be Misty Elam and I know you won’t want to miss it! The full list of blogs on the hop today are:
