Hi everyone!

Today, I’m thrilled to share this whimsical handmade card featuring the delightful Pooh and Piglet die set from the new Spellbinders & Simple Stories “Say Cheese Classic Pooh” collection. 

I am a HUGE fan of Winnie the Pooh!  This entire collection reminded me of the timeless charm of Classic Pooh and, over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing SEVERAL cards I made with this collection.  I have Pooh and Piglet, Eeyore, and Tigger lined up to share so be sure to stop back and see what I designed with this amazing collection!

For today’s card, I created a cozy forest scene that celebrates the friendship of Pooh and Piglet.  Each die-cut element was brought to life with ink blending.  I used strategic shading to give depth and dimension to every detail.  

The sentiment, “You’re a real friend,” was created using using the “Silly Old Bear” BetterPress sentiments that are also part of the collection.  Instead of using the BetterPress, I foiled the sentiment using black foil.  I think the sentiment ties the whole scene together, making this card perfect for someone special.
