Now, for a little about my card….

You know how I mentioned earlier this week that the sentiments in the new Simon Says Stamp “Turkey Day” stamp set made me laugh out loud??  Well, today I’m back with another card I made with that set – I just couldn’t resist!   And this time “Tofu is the new turkey!”

For this card, I used a stitched rectangle die to create my card front out of Desert Storm card stock.  I used the same card stock to create an arched frame for my sentiment.

I stamped the sentiment in the middle of the arch frame using black pigment ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.

Next, I stamped all my images using Copic-friendly ink, colored them with Copic markers, and die cut them.

I arranged my images on the arched frame, popping up the turkey and pumpkins for some added dimension.

I finished the card with a few sequins to give it some shine.
