Spellbinders’ Stamp & Die of the Month – Oct 2024

Merry Everything & Happy Always
10/06/2024

Hi everyone!

The NEW Spellbinders Clubs for October are now available to NON Club Members!  If you haven’t signed up, I hope my card today inspires you to do so!  Here is a bit more information about the Clubs, in case you’re interested:

The images in this month’s Cub stamp set are so cute!  I used the snowman and the bunny but this card could have just as easily been made with the polar bear and the penguin!

To make this card, I masked off a few inches on the top of my card and ink-blended it with some pale blue ink.  I then used snowflake dies to cut snowflakes into the panel.

I added a sentiment under the ink-blended area and over to the right so I could add my snowman and bunny next to it, then adhered the whole panel to my card front using foam adhesive.

I stamped the snowman and bunny onto Copic Xpress It paper using Memento ink, then colored them with my Copic markers.

I die cut the critters with the coordinating dies from the Club, then adhered them to my card front.   I used liquid glue for the snowman and foam adhesive for the bunny so that he stood out a bit.

I added a few gems for some sparkle and this card was finished!

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today!

I hope you have a wonderfully creative day!

    Dear Jean –
This is a beauty! I love the cute aspect but I also think the snowflake element is gorgeous!

I fell in love with card-making many years ago and I’ve been hooked on it ever since. I love trying out new techniques and finding the perfect color combination for whatever I’m creating.

By nature, I am an uber-organizer and a steadfast planner, but as you’ll see, my creations are much more fluid. And while I love color theory, the concept of lights and shadows, and the importance of depth and perspective – these are not things I worry about when it comes to my creations.

I simply find joy in creating and delight in sharing.

I hope that by sharing my cards and other art with you here on my blog I can inspire you to create something you love!
