Today, I’m featuring the Scalloped Symphony Notecard Etched Die set. This set was recently released by Spellbinders and is part of the Sweet Serenade Notecards Collection by Becca Feeken.
For my card today, I used the large, scalloped notecard die (folded in half at the score line), along with the decorative, lacy square die that comes in the set. I paired them with the Sweet Birds on a Branch dies which are some of my favorites! These little birds are just adorable and I just love how the lace square provides a sweet little background for one of the birds.
I used my Distress Spray Stains on watercolor cardstock to get the variation in colors for the bird, the branch, and the leaves. Sprays are an easy and fun way to get color for die cutting – just make sure the cardstock is dry before you start die cutting.
I hope you’ll check out the other dies and stamps released as part of Becca Feeken’s Sweet Serenade Notecard Collection – they are simply gorgeous!
Have a wonderfully creative day!
