Hi there!

Today I’m back with another card from the Sweet Serenade Notecards Collection by Becca Feeken over at Spellbinders. This time, I used the Lyrical Layered Florals stamp and die set to create a beautiful spray of flowers to border a shaker window filled with sparkle.

I tried a new technique for coloring the layers of the flowers – using sponge daubers and Distress Oxide inks. Normally, these inks are best for blending, so I used the sponge daubers to apply the ink directly to the stamp and was able to blend multiple colors on a single layer. The effect is subtle, but really does make a difference!
