Sleigh Ride Shaker Card

Pawsome Stamps New Holiday Release
11/14/2022

Hi everyone!

Today is release day over at Pawsome Stamps and to celebrate, I’m sharing this clean and simple card featuring the new “All Aboard” stamp set.

Have you ever gotten a new stamp set and fell in love with one of the images? Well, that was me with this cute little moose – he is just so darn adorable! I thought it would be fun to color him and have him peeking out of the sleigh that is incuded in the set.

To make this card, I first stamped and colored all my images using Copic markers: Moose: E21, E23, E29, E37, and E79 Sleigh: N2, N4, N6, R29, R39, R59, 100 Trees: E74, E79, G24, G28, G29 I cut out all the images (this set has coordinating dies, but my dies hadn’t arrived yet). I die cut a square out of a card panel using one of my favorite Peek-a-Boo dies from My Favorite Things. I stamped a sentiment to the panel and then added an acetate panel over the opening. I then added a double layer of foam adhesive behind the entire panel. I like to use a double layer of foam to make sure my shaker material has plenty of room to shake.
I put a small pile of shaker material on my card base, situating it so that it would be behind the acetate window, then adhered my panel to the card base. I added my moose, sleigh, and trees to create a little scene around the window.

What do you think?  Isn’t this little moose the cutest?!?!

Thank you for stopping by my blog today!  I hope you’ll head over to the Pawsome Stamps Shop and check out the new release!  You won’t be disappointed!

Have a wonderfully creative day, everyone!

I fell in love with card-making many years ago and I’ve been hooked on it ever since. I love trying out new techniques and finding the perfect color combination for whatever I’m creating.

By nature, I am an uber-organizer and a steadfast planner, but as you’ll see, my creations are much more fluid. And while I love color theory, the concept of lights and shadows, and the importance of depth and perspective – these are not things I worry about when it comes to my creations.

I simply find joy in creating and delight in sharing.

I hope that by sharing my cards and other art with you here on my blog I can inspire you to create something you love!
