Silly Old Bear – The 5th and Final Card in my Classic Pooh Series

Spellbinders & Simple Stories | Say Cheese Classic Pooh Collection
01/22/2025

Hi everyone!

I’m so excited to share the 5th (and final) card in my Classic Pooh series featuring the Spellbinders & Simple Stories “Say Cheese Classic Pooh” collection.

This design is a sweet and whimsical tribute to everyone’s favorite bear, Pooh, caught in his happy place—eating honey. 🐝🍯

For this card, I used a circle die-cut window to add depth to the scene and creating a focal point for Pooh and his honey pot. It sort of makes it look like you’re peeking into Pooh’s honey-filled world, doesn’t it?

Like all the cards in this series, the sentiment is from the “Silly Old Bear” BetterPress sentiments, which I foiled using black foil.  I think the “Silly Old Bear” sentiment from the set perfectly sums up Pooh’s lovable mischief and carefree nature.

This card wraps up my Classic Pooh series, and it’s been such a joy creating these designs. I hope this collection inspires you to explore new ways to bring your favorite characters to life in your own card-making projects.

Thank you for following along on this creative adventure!

I hope you have a wonderfully creative day!

I fell in love with card-making many years ago and I’ve been hooked on it ever since. I love trying out new techniques and finding the perfect color combination for whatever I’m creating.

By nature, I am an uber-organizer and a steadfast planner, but as you’ll see, my creations are much more fluid. And while I love color theory, the concept of lights and shadows, and the importance of depth and perspective – these are not things I worry about when it comes to my creations.

I simply find joy in creating and delight in sharing.

I hope that by sharing my cards and other art with you here on my blog I can inspire you to create something you love!
