Roar!

Hi there!

Oh my! These little dinosaurs from My Favorite Things are so stinkin’ cute!

I had so much fun coloring these little guys with my Copics. I’ve been practicing my Copic blending (I think I’m getting just a tiny bit better) and I’ve been trying new Copic color combinations – so I stamped up a bunch of tiny dinos and spent an afternoon playing around with them.

Copic Colors Used:
Greens: YG11, YG13, YG17
Yellows: Y02,Y17, YR16
Blues: B000, B01, B04
Blue-greens: BG11, BG13, BG49
Tree trunks: E35, E44, E47

When they were all colored, I liked them so much that I decided to create a couple of little scenes for them on some card fronts using a variety of dies that I ink-blended with my Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated Inks.

I hope you like these cards as much as I do!

Have a wonderfully creative day, everyone!

I fell in love with card-making many years ago and I’ve been hooked on it ever since. I love trying out new techniques and finding the perfect color combination for whatever I’m creating.

By nature, I am an uber-organizer and a steadfast planner, but as you’ll see, my creations are much more fluid. And while I love color theory, the concept of lights and shadows, and the importance of depth and perspective – these are not things I worry about when it comes to my creations.

I simply find joy in creating and delight in sharing.

I hope that by sharing my cards and other art with you here on my blog I can inspire you to create something you love!
