Hi everyone!

Today I’m continuing my journey creating with the charming Spellbinders & Simple Stories “Say Cheese Classic Pooh” collection.   This design highlights the sweet friendship between Piglet and Eeyore, captured in a playful and heartfelt scene.

Like all my cards in this series, I used ink-blending on every die-cut piece, adding soft depth to the characters and elements.  I feel like the ink-blending adds to the whimsical, storybook vibe. 🌸✨   All the colors I used are listed in the Supplies section below.

I used another sentiment from the “Silly Old Bear” BetterPress plates on thiscard…this time, “Promise you won’t forget about me,” which adds a sentimental touch and is perfect for the ever-pessimistic Eeyore. 💕

I took some artistic liberty with Eeyore on this card when it came to creating Eeyore’s tail.  In all the books, Eeyore has a push-pin that holds his tail in place (and is always falling off).  I wanted to add that detail to my Eeyore for this card but the die set does not include a separate die for a push-pin.  I decided to create it myself by combining two other pieces that are in the set a little differently: the center of the bow and the body of the butterfly.
