Hi everyone!

I’m so excited to share this joyful card design with you today! It’s bright, cheerful, and all about capturing the carefree feeling of kites soaring on a sunny day. For this card, I combined two incredible products from Spellbinders Clubs —the Embossing Folder of the Month and the Stamp and Die of the Month—to bring it all together.   These clubs are currently available to non-club members, so be sure to check them out.

I used the Embossing Folder of the Month to create a subtle textured pattern.  I feel like this adds just the right amount of detail without overpowering the rest of the card.  It’s the perfect backdrop for my focal scene, which features elements from the Up in the Air View die set that was released several months ago – I love to mix old and new products when creating!

I kept the color palette bright and simple—reds, yellows, and whites—to make the design pop and convey a sense of joy. The sentiment, “Hope your day takes flight with joy,” is from the Stamp and Die of the Month club set and ties everything together, making this card a lovely way to brighten someone’s day.

It’s always exciting to see how Spellbinders’ monthly clubs can work together to create something unique. Whether you’re layering elements, embossing for texture, or combining dies and stamps, the possibilities are endless!
