I Miss You

Simon Says Stamp | To Love Release
12/24/2024

Hi there!

It’s almost Christmas and Hankkah!  I hope your holiday is spent surrounded by the people you love.

I’m popping in quick (again) today to share this clean and simple card I made using the Love Letters stamp set from the latest Simon Says Stamp release.

To make this card, I stamped the envelope in Copic-friendly ink. I then stamped the heart with VersaMark ink, and heat embossed it in gold.  I colored the image with my Copic Markers, and cut it out.

I stamped several of the hearts in a pale pink and then used my blending brushes to add a bit of darker ink directly to the edges of each heart stamp before stamping again.  This gave each heart a bit of depth.  I fussy cut out the hearts.

Next, I ink-blended a pink area in the middle-top portion of my card base and stamped the postage “wave” and the sentiment in gray ink.

I adhered the letter to my card front using foam adhesive.  I arrange the hearts, adhering the smaller ones with liquid glue and the larger ones with foam squares.

A few tiny pink gems and this card was complete!  I hope you like it!

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today!  I know the holidays are hectic and I appreciate you all so much!

Have a wonderfully creative day, everyone!

I fell in love with card-making many years ago and I’ve been hooked on it ever since. I love trying out new techniques and finding the perfect color combination for whatever I’m creating.

By nature, I am an uber-organizer and a steadfast planner, but as you’ll see, my creations are much more fluid. And while I love color theory, the concept of lights and shadows, and the importance of depth and perspective – these are not things I worry about when it comes to my creations.

I simply find joy in creating and delight in sharing.

I hope that by sharing my cards and other art with you here on my blog I can inspire you to create something you love!
