Hi everyone!
It’s the 6th of the month and that means the NEW Spellbinders Clubs are released to NON Club Members!
These Clubs are a great value! If you haven’t signed up, I hope my cards today inspire you to do so! Here is a bit more information about the Clubs, in case you’re interested:
For this month’s Spellbinders’ Stamp and Die of the Month Club I created two cards using similar techniques, colors, and layouts, but with different mediums. I love to experiment with color and see how different mediums or even just slight changes in tone make a card feel unique.
The floral branch in this month’s stamp is so beautiful. The flowers are lovely and delicate but have enough “petal space” that they are perfect for coloring techniques where you want to be able to show gradations or variations in color within a single petal. And the scalloped frame creates the perfect border!
This month’s club includes several dies – one to cut out the large floral with the arch, two word dies (one for the “hello” you see in my cards and another that says “for you”), along with a sentiment strip die to go with the 7 sub-sentiments included in the set (I used “my friend” for both of my cards).
There’s a lot packed into this stamp and die set!
The bolder card I created (the one with the purple background) uses no line coloring and Inktense watercolor pencils. The softer card (the one with the gray background) uses no line coloring and Copic markers.
I’m curious which card you like the best? Let me know in the comments!
Thank you for stopping by my blog today! I hope you have a wonderfully creative day!
Both cards are so pretty but I like the softer colored one. Can’t wait to get me set as I love the floral arch frame. TFS
Thank you, JoAnn! You are going to LOVE this set!
