Happy Beer Day!

05/26/2022

Hi there!

I have a few male friends with birthdays this month and thought the My Favorite Things “Frosty Beer Mug” would make for a great card.

To make it, I die cut all the components for the mug and colored them with my Copic markers. I added a few white gel accents to give the mug the illusion of frosty glass.

Copic markers used:

Mug: C0, C1, C3
Beer: Y15, Y19, Y21, Y26, Y38

Once the mug was complete, I stamped my sentiment in the bottom center of the card base and then die cut a stitched circle in the middle that was large enough to frame the mug.

To top it off, I added few beer-colored gems.

This was a really simple card but I think my male friends will like it.

I hope you enjoyed this project! Thank you for stopping by!

Have a wonderfully creative day, everyone!

I fell in love with card-making many years ago and I’ve been hooked on it ever since. I love trying out new techniques and finding the perfect color combination for whatever I’m creating.

By nature, I am an uber-organizer and a steadfast planner, but as you’ll see, my creations are much more fluid. And while I love color theory, the concept of lights and shadows, and the importance of depth and perspective – these are not things I worry about when it comes to my creations.

I simply find joy in creating and delight in sharing.

I hope that by sharing my cards and other art with you here on my blog I can inspire you to create something you love!
