Slimline Thanks

Simon Says Stamp | Love Garden Sentiments
12/29/2021

Hi there!

Today I’m back with another card using the new Love Garden Sentiment stamp set from the Simon Says Stamp “To The Moon” release. I realized that I needed to stock up on a few Thank You cards – especially after the holidays – and I am still in awe of the sentiments in this set.

I kept this card really simple since I wanted to be able to mass produce it. I stamped the heart flower garden stamp and colored all the hearts in red with my Copic markers. You could do this with any color – and, instead of coloring them, you could use the heart layering stamp that comes in the set! Either way, you’ll get great results!

I cut out a small square of the flowers – you should be able to get several cards out of one full garden stamp! I then die cut a small square frame for the flowers.

I used a black and white stripe pattern paper for the bottom portion of the card, then popped up the framed heart garden at the top. I added a sentiment and a few black drop drops and called it good!

This card is so simple! I just love the black, white, and pop of red! Plus, since it is a slimline card, it fits in a standard business envelope!
Be sure to check out this set and several other amazing products in the Simon Says Stamp “To The Moon” release!

Hope you have a wonderfully creative day!

I fell in love with card-making many years ago and I’ve been hooked on it ever since. I love trying out new techniques and finding the perfect color combination for whatever I’m creating.

By nature, I am an uber-organizer and a steadfast planner, but as you’ll see, my creations are much more fluid. And while I love color theory, the concept of lights and shadows, and the importance of depth and perspective – these are not things I worry about when it comes to my creations.

I simply find joy in creating and delight in sharing.

I hope that by sharing my cards and other art with you here on my blog I can inspire you to create something you love!
