Hi there!

Once again, my beloved Summer has made way for Fall .

I’m doing my best to make my peace with it by trying to capture some of the glorious colors of Fall on my card for today. It’s hard not to love the rich reds, oranges, and yellows the season brings!

I started this card by die cutting all the pieces for the oak leaves and acorns and ink-blending them with several of the Pawsitively Saturated dye inks from Simon Says Stamp. These inks blend so beautifully! And the saturated formula is perfect for capturing those Fall colors. Here is the list of colors I used (links are included in the Supplies list below):

• Cherry
• Citrine
• Mandarin
• Pucker
• Cappuccino
• Pine
• Mocha

I decided to veer from my normal black sentiment and, instead, stamped my sentiment in Cappuccino. I love the softness this adds to the card!

I cut a simple panel for my card front about an inch smaller than my card base on all sides and arranged all my pieces. I adhered everything to the panel with liquid glue except one of the acorns and the sub-sentiment, which I popped up using foam adhesive.

Making this card reminded me of things I love about Fall…
