Clean and Simple: Step Into Spring

Spellbinders | February 2025 Stamp & Die of the Month Club
02/20/2025

Hi everyone!

Today, I’m sharing a fresh and cheerful spring card featuring the Spellbinders Stamp & Die of the Month. With the seasons starting to shift, I wanted to create something light, playful, and perfect for welcoming spring!

Design Details

I kept the design clean and simple, allowing the adorable bunny to take center stage. To create a soft and airy look, I blended pink, yellow, and green ink inside a masked circle, giving the background a warm, glowing effect. The sweet “Step Into Spring” sentiment pairs perfectly with the bunny’s big feet and the playful feel of the card.

For extra dimension, I die-cut and Copic-colored the bunny, adding subtle shading to bring it to life. A few scattered embellishments provide a little sparkle without overwhelming the design.

This card was so fun to create, and I love how the soft colors and minimal layout make it feel fresh and bright. Are you starting on your spring-themed crafting? Let me know in the comments!

I hope you have a wonderfully creative day!

I fell in love with card-making many years ago and I’ve been hooked on it ever since. I love trying out new techniques and finding the perfect color combination for whatever I’m creating.

By nature, I am an uber-organizer and a steadfast planner, but as you’ll see, my creations are much more fluid. And while I love color theory, the concept of lights and shadows, and the importance of depth and perspective – these are not things I worry about when it comes to my creations.

I simply find joy in creating and delight in sharing.

I hope that by sharing my cards and other art with you here on my blog I can inspire you to create something you love!
