Yeti Magic

Spellbinders | Rocky the Dancin' Yeti Collection
11/23/2024

Hi everyone!

I’m back with another holiday card today because I couldn’t resist sharing this adorable little winter yeti.  With his earmuffs, scarf, and cup of cocoa he’s giving me the cozy vibes I cling to this time of year.  I mean…if we can’t have summer all the time you might as well enjoy cozy cups of cocoa, right?

I used the Spellbinders’ Dancing Yeti dies to make my yeti.  He’s super cute when he’s dancing, but I couldn’t get my summer-loving self that excited for winter yet, so I decided to focus on how comfy and warm he looks.

I love that there are a lot of accessories for this yeti included in the die set – a santa hat, horns, antlers, ice cream, a flower, and others – so you could easily make this card more Christmas-y or even turn it into a birthday card if you wanted.

Assembling the yeti is super easy and Spellbinders has some easy instructions on their site if you’d like them! They gave me some ideas for other ways to use this die set so I think you’ll find them both helpful and inspiring.

Thank you so much for stopping by blog today!  It means the world to me and I hope this card inspires you in some way!

Have a wonderfully creative day!

I fell in love with card-making many years ago and I’ve been hooked on it ever since. I love trying out new techniques and finding the perfect color combination for whatever I’m creating.

By nature, I am an uber-organizer and a steadfast planner, but as you’ll see, my creations are much more fluid. And while I love color theory, the concept of lights and shadows, and the importance of depth and perspective – these are not things I worry about when it comes to my creations.

I simply find joy in creating and delight in sharing.

I hope that by sharing my cards and other art with you here on my blog I can inspire you to create something you love!
